Their ancient craft was born among the skalds of the Northmen, but now Bards can be found among all the peoples of the World. Every Bard must be a master of tale-telling and music, and must hone their memory to supreme heights: the great sagas and chronicles span thousands of rhymes, and can take three days to hear in full. A master Bard knows several great sagas, and can sing them through from end to end without missing a single word. They need no books or notes to keep the sagas: the weave of rhyme and kenning is their only guide, memory their only tool.

Mage-Based Bards have been granted a new power called Anthem of Avoidance at Level 20; which has a casting time of .02 seconds, a maximum duration of 300 seconds, and a recycle timer of 300 seconds. This Damage Absorber absorbs and protects from Crushing, Piercing, and Slashing damage. At Power Rank 40, it will grant +75 resistance and absorbs up to 2000 points of damage for those damage types.
The Bard song 'Dance of Darrac the Dauntless' is now granted at GM level.
Bards have gotten a number of improvements. Bards now get Sword and Staff Mastery. Hate values associated with recovery chants have been reduced. Durations for Attribute buffs have been fixed. Effects for group Attribute buffs have been improved. Mana cost for chants have been removed.
