This article is about the the tenth level promotion. For other uses, see Class (disambiguation).
Prestige Class, Also known as profession, or just class refers to the final promotion of a character from their base class. Once a character promotes to their prestige class, they may not change their decision again.
How to Promote
When a character is level ten and wishes to promote to their prestige class, they must visit that specific class trainer. Interacting with this trainer will prompt you if you would like to promote to that class.
Level 10 Experience Cap
Characters may not gain levels after level ten unless they promote to a prestige class, however, they may continue to gain experience, even accumulating a negative experience value totaling the next three level advances, but no more. If a character accumulates negative experience, they will gain it's benefit upon promoting and gaining at least one more experience point.
