Cent Heal Priest By BlueOreo

from Here

I'm convinced this is the best centaur heal/stun priest I've made so far. I'll let everyone else judge though. After reading your template, I really think this would serve you best, but it's a personal preference thing too, so I'm sure you'll do some tweaking.

So work or not, what would the atr be like?

The Quintessential Human Buffbot by Halethrain

from Here

I've been receiving a few private messages about my old Healings of Vengeance template no that it can no longer be found on the forums, so I thought I'd put an updated template up for everyone. Some of this may be obvious to people now, but this template is literally as old as the first day humans got their extra trains.

*Born of Iryndu, while technically a net loss of 7 points is one of those cases where it's up to personal preference. You'll be able to squeeze a 10-15 con rune on without it which will give you 100-150 more con. The return on con is so low I just don't find this to be worth while any longer.

**Extra points go into Prayer of Mending and Prayer of Recovery

----------------------------------
Q: What will my heals roughly be?
A: If you are wearing all resist gear and having bard buffs you will have 179-474 with blessed mending, 248-655 with Prayer of Mending, and 128-256 with Prayer of Recovery

Q: Why do you have more points into Prayer of Mending than Prayer of Recovery?
A: The reasoning behind this is because this toon is not designed to replace a heal priest. This is a purely supplemental toon which best utilizes the extra points a human attains. Your blessed and prayer of mending are more important if a dedicated heal priest is using his better prayer of recovery.

Q: What type of jewelry should I be using?
A: I'm a resist fanatic personally, but wearing resist/intelligence gear would not be a horrible idea on this template. If you are playing on the lore server you should be creating a large stock of resist jewelry for every occassion. The lore charters make it especially easy to slide into a perfect set of resist gear for every fight.

Q: What is the exact purpose of this toon?
A: A buffbot/healer, as mentioned above, is not intended to replace a heal priest. This toon is designed to be used as a second account or as an emergency backup healer. The best way to use it is to leave it outside of the battle and run it in either when all other priests are dead or your primary toon has died.

Dwarf Heal Priest: CW/FM/Sanct template by _keth_

Can someone check this template and see if I've missed something obvious? I'm assuming I'll be grouped with buff-bots. Purpose here is survivability under the Lore server rules (dwarf only charter).

Sanctifier: 1 pt Sanctify the Fallen (wash death shroud)
Sanctifier: 1 pt Sacred Reinforcement (building only – HoT)

Jewelry will be resist gear, not int. I've thought of 77% Drakescale to reduce points, but I am currently favoring the elite helm.

I'd like to have ST % GMd for the 3min recast. In a good dwarf group, I can cast it 2-3 times. BM on a dwarf melee character is next to useless (thus it's dropped to 20). I just don't see how I can get the points to GM ST% without overly sacrificing survivability. Am I counting the points right?

Constructive criticism welcome.

Priest/bladeweaver/elf By Xiat

from Here

If you really want to try this out...

Take both CON runes at start and step up to Godly CON.
Spike INT (Legendary would probably be best)
Everythign else in DEX.

Spike MA
90 trains in Sword, spike BW.
Spike Theurgy

+9 dam, +165 ATR, -22% 110% Tlans
+9 def + 45 hp MA with dex gloves and windlords

The only buff you want to train is Holy Righteousness. Get everything else from a buffbot.

Train all the BW powers.

Train all the upper stuns to GM (sanction, psalm of sanction), put one train in the lower stuns (divine condemnation, holy curse)
GM Divine Sanction, Grasp of the All Father, Prayer of Haste, and all the % heals.
Only train Restoration high enough to get % heals. Only train Benediction to 69%.

Get Darksworn and train the Drain.
Get Sanctifier for additional % heal.

Live in defensive stance, run away when you get your first debuff on you. Play stunner support until your moment comes. You can do a great job of keeping people off your healer Priest. DON'T RUSH IT! You'll die fast if you rush it. Playing BW Priest is all about timing and most people don't have it. You'll get a chance to run in and clean up but if you go to soon you'll just be another easy kill target on their list.

Elf Priest By BlueOreo

Whoever told you elves don't make good priests... is a dirty dirty liar.

Next to humans, elves probably make the best priests. And all it takes to make a decent elf healer/buffer would be:

40 Blessed Mending
40 Prayer of Mending
32 Divine Recovery
40 Prayer of Recovery
40 Mana Recovery
40 Blessed Alacrity
40 Run Buff
82% benediction (or whatever con buff requires)
140% restoration
95-130% block
38% hammer
20 single target con
40 in group con

There's a good heal/buffer.

I have played this character Everlast for couple of years now. I usually just run into the middle of the battle and throw out my Grp Hot then spam the Prayer of Mending. Got the grp and single target stam and heal % for when the going gets tough. Unless I get targeted with about 4+ toons on me at same time I can last awhile. I heal with my grp hot for 250+ and the other heals are high enough to make this build the ultimate battle build. I've made 75 centaur priest on test and didn't have as much fun running in and out of battle. Hard to take out priest with 4000+ HP and good heals.

Estimated attack rating with bard and priest buffs... ~1200-1400 I'd think without a +150 atr scepter (I'd rather you take high priest's on your scepter).

That's what I'd do. The original build and stat layout was done by Halethrain. Of course you drop Born of the Irydnu(17 point cost rune) since it's expensive and maybe even take a smaller intelligence rune, if you choose to raise your constitution more. Don't take Wizard's Apprentice though, because it ends up actually costing you 18 points in the end, and you need spirit anyways, since you're going chaos, correct?

Edit: Now if you want a really proficient stunner, then I recommend taking points out of Restoration, Block, and then Medium Armor (in that order), depending on how much ATR you need.

This is the refined version of my first human priest who has gone to Ardan with the death of Damnation. I'm gonna play on the lore server and my guild will most probably only have access to aelfborn and human priests. This template is built for survival first and for enduring heal output second. Note that I don't plan to use my stun on unblined high-def chars so it's low ATR (how low do you think will it be?) should be enough to get some casters or other priests down. Please also keep in mind that i'll always have my bard buffbot with me who will give me 50 INT/SPI, 100% MR and 50% runspeed.

Good Cent group heal based tempby Night_Owl

from Here

Nope, don't have one. I'll throw something out for ya that might point ya in the right direction however, loosely based on my dwarf heal priest. Emphasis on Loosely.

Minimal str/dex.
Spi of around 100, will cover your healing needs in all but the most rediculously ongoing overhealing lengthy battles. I've been in maybe 3 where I started running low with 95.
Int. I'd say around 120 should be alright.
Con. Everything else.

Benediction-69
Train your con buff to 50, don't go for the group buff.

Restoration-90 trains.
Blessed Mending-GM
Prayer of Mending-GM
HOT-GM
Group HOT-GM
Sacred Healing(%heal 1 target) 8 trains
Sacred Restoration (%stam heal 1 target) 8 trains
Prayer of Healing (group % heal) 1
Prayer of Restoration (group stam % heal) 1

Theurgy-You should be able to get just enough for Psalm of Sanction, which you would put 1 train into (after spending the requisite 15 into Sanction).
Blessed Purity-GM. 150% mana regen is a lifesaver, both for you and your offensive casters.

Armor-med., to 100%.
Block-95%.

Wish I could be more helpful, but my priest is currently in mid-respec (I trained up Tend, which is an idiot spell, and am currently untraining since I can't remember last time I cast it in a battle...among other things).

Let someone else get the run buff. At worst, put in 1 train into it so you have a little somethin' somethin.
No discs.

The glass-cannon Healer/Stunner Priest by Xiat

This is a character that takes serious skill to play and play right. You are literally a glass cannon healer with the potential to heal more than your own HP with each heal.

Drop 5 from all stats and then take enough Int to get the two starting runes. This template is all about 2 things - INT and SPI. The combinations are up to your preferences but you should work to having around 105-115 Spirit and 150-170 Int. Con should end up around 50.

That is right, you are a Con Gimp. Live with it. I'll throw in a few tips to help with that.

Equipment:
Robe - +Restoration and +mana is the nicest I've found but then not many people roll priest robes on their vendors.
Hood - Same as Robe. Try to get some Mana regen as well.
Necklace - Lapis/Charmed/Ivory of Power/Genius
Rings (in order of preference)-
1-Lapis of Theurgy
2-Ivory of Theurgy
3-Lapis of Genius
4-Ivory of Genius
Boots - Cloth windlords with +Stam (black, since all the brown boots are color ugly and serious fashion faux pas)
Shield - +3 passive defense, +30 Cold resist. Assassins will be your biggest enemy.
Hammer - The best I've found is a +10 Int, +10 Spi, +150 ATR, 58% Scepter.

Little known facts:
-HoTs healing changes according to your stance. If you change stances in the middle of the duration the HoTs will do more healing.
-Sanction has almost recast and is a % roll against the defense. You can stun dex monkeys if you spam it.
-GHoT and HoT stack. Wanna make an assassin mad? Have both running when he Shadowmantles you.
-The large group screen refreshes more than the small one and so is more accurate.
-Sanction might have the same range as DDs but it casts fasters and interrupts them.
-You can swim forever with this templates. The HoT is that good. I remember a naval battle with a druid and a channeler. They both drowned. A well timed stun left them within range of shore but unable to run out.

Survival strategies.
-Always have GHoT going. Always.
-Stay near the back.
-Hotkey 'target self' and 'sanction'. Stun yourself before engaging enemy and refresh your immunity constantly.
-HoT yourself before engaging any enemy.
-Always have at least one heal GMed. Not everyone has GM Shadowmantle.
-Stun and run. Don't let anyone get close. Stun someone and run to a new position to continue healing/stunning.
-FOLLOW GROUP TARGETING. Stun the person they call. Spam heal the people the enemy is targeting.
-Make sure your group will support you. The best groups can change targets quickly to take out anyone threatening the priest.
-'Target next player' targets the next furthest player from you starting with the one you the one currently targeting. So if you click on the closest enemy and spam 'Sanction', 'target next player'... you can stop up the ranks pretty fast. If you randomly throw in a 'Psalm of Sanction' you can almost stop an army in their tracks. With a couple people throwing down AoEs and DoTs you can quickly put them on defensive.

THIS IS AN OFFENSIVE PRIEST TEMPLATE. IF you are fighting a defensive battle you will be targeted and eliminated. This is a very niche template and is very powerful but takes a lot of skill to work well. If you learn to play it right it can only be beaten by being grossly overrun.

Facts:
-Fully buffed, I've cast a 3000+ Tend the Wounded heal on a sitting thief.
-In precise stance the stun ATR can get up to 1600. That makes every dex monkey out there a living pincushion for 18 seconds.
-Both HoTs should do 150-300 heal per tick. That is up to 3600 HP over the course of 30 seconds. This takes your gross HP up from a weak 1700 to tank-level 5300.

Enjoy.

Description:

This character should achieve around 2000 defense priest buffed in defensive stance and close to 4000 HP. For an elven priest this will be a very difficult target to take down. Defense is always a risky game but this character has enough health, plus some percent heals + run buff, in case things go bad. You will style cast your stuns with a 22% ATR power in conjuction with JM Feint to hit around 2300-2400 ATR, if not higher. This will be enough to hit anything in a fight that you would actually be using a stun priest at. It's obviously very limited in its role but should be a very powerful build if played right. Fifteen second stuns are brutal, and with the % heals you don't have to worry about defensive stance gimping your output. I am going to try and roll this when I get some free time this weekend.

Guntir: Dwarf Healer Priest by Lilaney

from Here

As a little background, Guntir was originally rolled in the final days of Death server. From there I moved to Vengeance and now reside on Redemption. He has never been rerolled, but has ungone massive respeccing from his original build.

This build works perfectly fine by itself, but I personally roll with a bardbot which guarantees the extra MR, SoS, int, and spi. It's not going to ruin the build if you don't have those, but for best results you'll want them.

The rest of this is straight copy-paste from my guild's boards. There's probably some small differences between this and Guntir himself, but is for the most part exactly the same.

Quick note: this was written before resources, hence the lack of supah ubah gear.

-----------

Guntir the Blessed, level 70 dwarven healer priest

There will always be people arguing that dwarf is not the best race for a healer priest. While it's certainly true that dwarves have the lowest int, I've found that the actual healing difference of my build compared to other priests is remarkably low. And when you consider the durability of a dwarven heal priest compared to heal priests of other races, it becomes more and more apparent that dwarf is ideal for a well-rounded healer priest.

Now I am not going to come here and state that dwarves are by far the greatest, and that any other race is totally and completely worthless, but after much experience playing a dwarven healer priest and talking to other priests I conclude that they make the best overall priest. Certainly if you want a priest for a specific situation, such as a bane fight or a centuar group, you might want a different race, but for a very well-rounded priest, dwarf is king.

Unbuffed stats at level 70: (base/items)
Str: 40/45
Dex: 20/21
Con: 135/140
Int: 125/160
Spi: 92/97

I'll explain the item choice later, the important part here is the base stats. For a priest, stat distribution is all about balancing con, int, and spi. Since priests are high priority, bringing your con to its natural max just makes sense. Don't apply any con runes though, since you'll need those points for int and spi. Now I've seen some high spi and spi/int builds, and I really can't see sacrificing int for higher spi. The mana returns aren't exactly great (or necessary), so it's best to focus on int. After int, the remaining points go to spirit. You don't want to have less than 85 spirit, and you really will be wanting to push that to your natural max of 95.

The rest of the stats are with items:

HP: 2768
MP: 1106
Stam: 270

Not quite enough mana or regen to cast non-stop, but you can go for a very long time, and with moderate casting you'll be able to go indefinitely. Doomsayers will own your mana pool, but they would anyway. Their range sucks though, so with smart positioning you can keep yourself somewhat safe.

Runes Applied:
Brilliant Mind
Wizard's Apprentice
Legendary Intelligence
Traveler
Forge Master
Commander

Unless you are 100% sure you're going to get to level 75, go with legendary (+35) int. Otherwise, a godly int is a good choice, since with legendary you'll be left with 2 extra points come 75. Less spi with godly int, but you'll have enough if you get 75. I personally hate XPing with a passion, hence legendary.

Commander is for commanding siege engines and stun break, forgemaster for harden armor, and traveler because I used to play Death, a server where 5 trains meant you could go anywhere. For your fourth disc... giant killer? Darksworn? Doesn't matter really.

Medium Armor: 100/107

Standard fan-fare here. Hammer was still in 2 for 1 train, hence 39 base instead of 38. For block, going past 90 trains isn't really worth it since your block chance won't go up much when you're paying 2 points a train, but getting up to 90 trains gives you a very good block chance, and is essential for tanking melees with long powerblocks. 100 medium armor is for the best resists possible and the elite healer cowl.

I never liked the idea of GMing % heals. It's always seemed to me to be spending an extra 32 points for a slightly better one-time big heal. The recast timer is reduced with more trains, but even GM you're looking at one cast per fight on average.

Equipment:
Perfect setup in my opinion. Slashing it highest, which is what you want, while maintaining very good pierce and crush resist.

High Priest's Gilded Scepter of Power (+15 benediction/restoration, +5 all stats)
Charmed Tear Pendant of Genius (+20 lightning/cold/fire resist, +10 int)
Apostate's Moonstone Ring of Genius (+30 holy resist, +10 int)
Apostate's Gemstone Band of Genius (+30 holy resist, +10 int)
Ethereal Shield of Chaos of Defense (+30 magic resist, +3 passive defense)
High Priest's Runed Bellugh Nuathal Helmet (+15 benediction/restoration, +100 mana, +25% mana regen)
Trueshaped Infernal Chain Boots of the Windlords (+4 crushing/piercing resist, +15% run speed)
Trueshaped Infernal Chain Gloves of Trueson (+4 crushing/piercing resist, +2 slash)
Trueshaped Infernal Chain Hauberk of the Trueson (+4 crushing/piercing resist, +2 slashing resist)
Trueshaped Infernal Chain Sleeves of the Trueson (+4 crushing/piercing resist, +2 slashing resist)
Trueshaped Infernal Chain Leggings of the Trueson (+4 crushing/piercing resist, +2 slashing resist)

There's a lot of people who have the misconception that resists are the only thing you should put on your priest. For best results, you should try to squeeze in as much int gear as you can while still maintaining some decent resists. Generally speaking, this means 30 resist/10 int rings with a charmed/10 int necklace. The reason for this is simple: while you are a priority target, you're also a healer. Your survivability comes from big heals combined with resists, so a balance between int gear and resist gear is appropriate. This certainly shouldn't be the only gear set up you consider, since different times and different servers have different kinds of toons. Experiment with a few different sets of rings/necklaces/shields and find out what works best for you.

This template was originally created by Ralcor of Silvermoon from the Test Server. I never got a written copy of it, and I only saw it in action, so I can't know for sure exactly what it was. However, I do know what idea was and that was SURVIVABILITY. I know caps can be annoying, but honestly it's definitely needed in this build as it's designed to last a loooong time.

I wanted to make a stunner/healer priest, the reasoning being that going all out atr stunner just didn't make any sense at all to me to be able to hit 1500-1700 atr on a stun when pts could be valuably put in other places.

On paper this build looks like poo, and initially it played like it. Some may ask why I went lower on con. Nothing makes me cringe more than when I see dwarves not utilizing the fact that they get more physical resists and more hp from toughness than any other race. Just because you are a dwarf does not mean you need to pump up your con, use toughness to help that out, you are still the meatiest healer out there. I have found that with only 38% MA (Leather and Chain) and fully forge mastere'd I get 67% slash 75% pierce and 58% crush resistance with my armor set. No need to put any extra trains into MA when you can get those numbers, it also only took me about 2 hours to roll a full set of 4/4/40 4/4/WL's or 4/4/2 gear. Pieces roll in 7.5 minutes I think.

Gear:
I love resists so I went the resist/theurgy route.
Charmed/Theurgy ammy
Apo/Theurgy ring
Ethereal/Theurgy ring
30fire/15mental resist shield
High priest/power septer
Runed/Genius Hood

Notice that I did not take a 150 atr septer, I tried trading off between the two septers and found that my atr without the 150 bonus hits 75% of the targets out there. I also tried a High Priest Hood and a Lapis/Shaper ring and I believe it is all just personal preference, in a bane i'd use the high priest hood for the better heals.

Just a quick breakdown on numbers etc. etc. (all stats are completely unbuffd)

unbuff'd hp - 2740 (with 1 Lapis/shaper ring)
mana - 1193 (runed genius hood)
stun atr - a whopping 962

How to pvp with this toon:
I've found that casting one group heal, either HoT or mending and then running/stunning/rooting works wonders. This toon with a bow user will wreeeeeeeek havoc. Kiting is very important and extremely easy. A 15 second stun with 25 second root is awesome. With your decent phys resists and your avg ele/nuker resists you can actually live through a group targetting you if you can get off some stuns.

I have been thinking of untraining the Mana regen to spike up toughness, this is the biggest weakness in teh template I believe. There are always buffbots or other priests around me that have MR, but on those pk runs it's great to have. I cannot express my utter love for this toon, as gimp as it may seem it's still a blast. I know there are better toons for stunning/kiting or healing stunning but I've found that nothing can withstand focus fire like a dwarf, of course I die when there is no hope, but I've run my way out of a couple hairy situations.

Some more fuzzy logic for you, humans get 60 extra trains so they'd be more viable right???wrong. I save 60 trains by not training Medium Armor up at all and I still have upwards of 20% more phys resist and therefore I do not need to spike block or take a pass defense shield. Humans will stil have a ton more trains because I am going to be putting mine into toughness but the extra 1k hp is worth it.

Excuse my babbling it is late and i worked long hours...Look for me in game under Ghaylen Rumblebelly.

Critique and compare at your own risk, but remmeber all stats are unbuff'd and I have the [censored] balls to post my unbuff'd results, so don't spout off your balls and shaft elitistic answers about your 5k hp dwarf that heals for 400 a tick, blow me.

These resists are catored to the mourning server and the enemies I fight. If I made this on vengeance I'd have 2 resists sets one for sieges where I'd stack lightning/fire/cold and holy and no magic/mental/poison and have dual resist scepter and shield aswell. Other set would be for small scale and have the high priest scepter and of defence shield with less holy resists and more mental resists.

Buffed up I got a bit of 3k hp, a little under 1500mana my mending has a range of 217-508. My priest and cent shrines both blew up while I was playing beta so I can't get numbers with boons but typically I had #1 priest shrine so an extra 30 restoration(boosting it up to 226 resto! YAY) as well as a half assed cent shrine(which still gives +5% stats). Also when playing this toon I bot around a bard for int/spi, so it is designed to be bard buffed however it functions very well without them however I'd wear a runed of genius hood if I wasn't sure I'd be bard buffed I also bot around a dwarf priest buffbot at the same time(yes I triple box almost all day) so I have my armor honed... sometimes I'll even hone my scepter and hit people with it. The bard template I use for the bot is pretty standard with int/spi buff, run speed, mana regen, SoS all GM'd and enough bow/archery for grounding shot nothing fancy. The priest bot is your standard run of the mill buffbot, which you should be shot if you can't make.

1 pt holy curse (I think you may get this automatically)

This is a pretty straight forward build. The key is in balancing the equipment. . . it's tough to decide more heals or resists.

I get the best results with:

Charmed of power neck
+30 resist +15 resist ring
+30 resist +10 int ring
+15 resto +15 bene +10 int scepter
+30 resist + 3 PD shield.
+4 +4 +40 armor
+15 resto +15 bene +100 mana +25% mana recovery helm

Ending stats con buffed with +50 int/spi, I have about 3100 HP, 1350 mana and I GHOT on avg for about 275-300. This is very respectable imo and is as good as an elf priest who went all resist gear. I am a little more vulnerable to nukes but I have more HP.

I have spent a lot of time tweaking this build to exactly what I need since I seem to play him about 80% of the time in PvP. I really like the con/spi balance I have now. I never run out of mana except with a doomie around or if my mana crack runs out mid fight (I always have bard buffs though.) I toggle back and forth between run and walk mode depending on if I am taking focus fire. I can spam blessed mending with 0 mana in walk mode on this build (just barely).

A lot of people would say centaurs are not good priests and are worse than humans and dwarves but I think I disagree. It is tough (and a mana waste) to keep the run buff on all the time. When I get the mino barb zerg on me, I can create space right away and then hit the run buff. If I am targetted by anything other than glass cannon nukers in my vulnerable elements, I can usually outlast the stun and run out of range before they can kill me.

The only interesting thing about this build is the 1 pt in sanction imo. I have 450 atr on that stun unbuffed. Most people would argue that it is a waste but you can spam it and it costs almost no mana. I am constantly surprised how often I hit running 2k def rogues with it when I spam it. It's incredibly useful when helping to chase down stragglers at the end of battle and if you see someone about to get nuked to death and don't have time to heal them, you can stun the caster out of the nuke. I use it a lot more than I thought I would. I use the root constantly too.

Centaur Melee Priest by RichV

from Here

First let me add to everyone else by saying that melee based priests aren't ideal. You get no weapon powers, which makes your attack rating too low to hit defensive toons, and severely hurts your damage. However, you can build one that's decent support, at least if you run with a lot of tanks or a fast group. The first thing to remember is that any centaur priest with sanction is moderately usefull no matter what, so you're not looking at a complete gimp this way. Of the weapon choices, I would definiately go spear on a centaur.

-Bad primary healer (lack of GHot and Group heal)
-No stat buffs

Overall
If you run with a centaur group this template could be pretty usefull, being able to fill multiple rolls. You'll need an outside stat buffer, so if you can't get that regularly, then don't bother. You're TTW will be strong enough to keep people alive when needed and your tanks will love the 15 second stun. Just stun and go to town on whoever is called as a target for the tanks. Excellent speed, combined with very good hp's and resists will make you a tough target to take down (the biggest problem being that you have to get close to the enemies to kill them, largely negating your speed as a survivability tool). I can't stress enough how important resist gear is to this template as you will be an early target in every fight (probably best to lay back and just stun until the hardest hitters for the enemies are gone). The real str of this template will show when you have to run down an enemy centaur summoner after the fight is won, or going up against a kiting crew.

Basically I was looking for a jack of all trades kind of toon, and after trying many other claseses I came across this. You don't get enough of a return in Restoration or Theurgy to justify spiking it into triple trains IMO, so I took a different route. This build is a healer priest first, stun priest second, and can proc/melee if your group is really hurting. Keep in mind that this build was designed knowing that I have access to a buffbot for group stat buffs.

For daggers I just use +150 ATR proc daggers, the throwing genre, I lean towards procs more than DMG modifiers cause my melee damage isn't anything special... But if you have a dwarf buffbot to keep them honed, you could do some decent damage with a DEX buff.

For jewlery I aim for +INT +Mana +MR gear all the way around.

For Hood and Robe I go for +Ben/Res and Mana *or* +INT +Mana +MR, just depends on what I feel like that day, heh.
You'll want windies on the boots too of course.

I'm not 71 yet, but getting there. So far this toon has been a blast, my heals excede that of cent preists with spiked Res, my stuns aren't GMed cause 26 mana for a 12 second stun is still pretty damn good and still gives me lots of time to get a proc off. The AoE stun is for "oh [censored]" situations and is really only used as an escape method. There have been a few occasions where a melee has snuck up on me and taken me down quick, but I usually have both HoTs running on myself and can stun them before I die.

I'm thinking about dropping the DMG buff since 70% of my damage comes from procs as it is, but I really don't know what else to put the points into except the % heals or something.

The three biggest problems I have are offensive sieges (guards eat me alive unless I stay in the back until they're dead), running out of stam, and getting caught alone agianst high DEF toons. Having said that, I have other toons I use for offensive sieges and this guy is pretty good for defensive sieges, by the time I use up both my stam % heals the fight is usually about over anyway, and I can usually out heal most DEF toons' damage long enogh to get an evac or have someone else kill him/her.

Tanks for reading.

Human Heal Priest: by Bender

from Here

I. Preface
The following template is an all out human heal priest. It’s designed entirely to lay big number heals while maintaining a healthy amount of resists in both melee and magic. As all templates I design, this template will not include most common priest buffs. If you do not commonly run buff bots with your guild, then you will have to change some points to include things such as Blessed Alacrity, or defense buffs.

II. Character Creation
Starting Races
This priest like all of my new priests is human. Humans with the new blood runes, 58 extra training points, and their decent health returns make all around excellent priests. For healing, health, and all other things considered, humans probably work the best if you want to achieve high heals, but maintain a decent amount of survivability.
Creation Runes
Since this template is relying generally on having high intelligence to have high heal levels and already has a dead even balance in all other stats the rune creation choices are fairly simple. The human blood rune Born of Iryndu is a superior choice to Wizard’s Apprentice in my opinion. It costs 4 more points at creation, but you do not lost any points from spirit and con which are both required by your priest. I would also choose Brilliant Mind as a starting rune.

Benediction - 69%: Just to receive summon
Restoration - 190% or Gold: The focus for all your heals.
Theurgy - 33%: Just enough to get Mana Regeneration buff.
Powers
Prayer of Haste - 40
+50% runspeed chant. This spell is used in GVG a lot and is the only thing that will keep you alive if you have several melees targeting you. I cannot stress enough how much more important this spell is over a 900 second buff that a buff bot could be giving out.
Blessed Purity - 40
This is your +150% Mana regeneration spell. Without this you’ll find yourself running out of mana quick. In technicality, you could leave this for a buffbot. I personally find it’s just much, much handier to have this yourself.
Blessing of Health - 40
This is your basic +50 constitution spell. I don’t find it worth training benediction to get the group on this template, since it’s mainly for the slim chance that a buff bot is not available.
All-Father's Grasp - 10
As a human, I put this at 10 because I can afford the trains and it allows me to chain root a class without a stun break. It's a very useful way to keep priests from running off to start a summon chain.
Blessed Mending - 40
This heal will hit for about 400-500 without an intelligence buff and has a very quick cast time. At 20 trains in it, you will also open up Prayer of Mending, which gives you a large group heal. I choose this spell over tend the wounded since there is no group version of tend the wounded and this spell is more useful to casters due to a shorter cast time.

Prayer of Mending – 40
This is your big group heal. It will hit for about 500-700 with no intelligence buff and have a moderate cast time. You’ll find this is one of your most commonly casted spells in group combat and it should be casted every time it’s timer is up.
Sacred Healing - 40
This is your instant cast % heal. Normally I would not advise GM’ing this spell, but as this is a human template and a pure healer it’s useful to have a 58% heal vs. 30%. You’ll be able to heal a barb for 5500-6000 health while he’s standing in rage. It can turn the tide of a battle if used effectively.
Sacred Rejuvenation – 40
GM’ing this spell was mainly because I had the trains which I could either use on block or my stamina spells. I’m personally not a fan of using block higher than 95%, so I decided to go with this. 58.4% Stamina heal at GM and once GM’ed it has a 4-5 minute recycle timer on it. That timer is compared to the 15-20 minutes it has at 8 trains.
Benediction of Healing - 40
Group instant cast % heal. Being able to instantly recover 58% health for all of your group is huge. This spell can be very tricky to use due to it’s range, however. The biggest thing is to remember that you shouldn’t wait for everyone to be there for it. Use it when you think you can hit at least a few people that need it.
Benediction of Rejuvenation - ~20
I dumped my spare points here. Once again, I decided with these spells over block. The choice is honestly up to you which you want.
Divine Recovery – 40
This is your single target Heal-Over-Time. For some ungodly reason that can only be conceived by the likes of Satan, this spell ticks for much less than the Group Heal-Over-Time. It’s only 8 extra trains to GM it though and it can come in very useful.

Prayer of Recovery – 40
This is your group heal-over-time. It will probably be your second or third most commonly used heal. You should be casting this spell at least every 30 seconds in battle. There should be no time when there is not a heal-over-time ticking on everyone.
II. Disciplines
Commander - Don't train anything. Use stun break when someone calls it, and use command siege engine.
Traveler - Train any of the following: (on Mourning)
Fire, Water, Earth
Air, Water, Earth
Fire, Spirit, Earth
Air, Spirit Earth
Any of those three gates will take you from the chaos runegate to anywhere.
Air from Chaos goes to Desert
Earth from Chaos goes to Ice
Fire from Chaos goes to North Mainland
Spirit goes nowhere
Water from Chaos goes to Undead Isle.
So as you see, you can use chaos to get to those 4 and use them from a non-chaos gate to go anywhere that you can't get from chaos.
Darksworn - 1 Train into the single-target drain will no break a root upon yourself, or if you're lucky get you a killshot when you're goofing off.

III. Equipment
Armor – 100% Medium Armor with the Epic Healer Helm. All armor should have Trueshaped of Ymir or Trueshaped of resist statistics. The healer helm is a High Priest’s Runed Bellugh Nuathal helm.
Weapon – I use High Priest of Divine Shadow. Resists could vary from server to server, or even guild to guild.
Rings – I am lucky enough to have two Token FC rings, but given that this won’t be a likely option for everyone, use dual resist rings, or lapis of resist.
Necklace – Charmed of Resist Amulet.
Shield – Once again, I’d go with dual resist.
Equipment Notes – The most important thing to note about your equipment is that resist will vary from server to server. Generally speaking you should always have good resists in your elementals as it’s the most commonly used magic-type by class. Everything else will depend on which server you play on. *Another important thing to take note of is if you cannot get your hands on the Epic Healer helm there’s absolutely no reason to go with 100% armor over 77% Drakescale, so I would leave your trains at 77% in medium armor until you’ve acquired the helm.

IV. Tactics
Playing a human priest is fundamentally different from playing Dwarves, which are by quite a large margin the most popular priest template. Playing a human is in fact very similar to the way you would play a centaur. While staying in the same place is possible in some situations, you must have your Prayer of Haste constantly at ready if a bard does not have his on, or you are out of his range. Staying away from melees is absolutely imperative to be successful with this template. If you have to run quite a distance, that’s alright. In most cases when the priest dies, your group becomes severely crippled unless running healer heavy groups, or similar set ups. That means if you aren’t able to heal for 15 seconds because you’re running away, it’s a lot better than you healing a group member and sacrificing yourself.

Secondly, as mentioned above in the equipment notes, resists on a priest are wholly important. Resists vary from server to server and from group set up to group set up. If you have a bard with Song of Spring and Song of Warding, the need to have those spell resistances incredibly high is diminished. My current set up is at 64% Elemental resists, 45% holy resist, and 30% magic resist. I find resisting warlocks redundant on the Mourning server for two reasons. The first reason is that Warlockry is obviously solely based on the use of one class, unless procced. Every other magic type has multiple classes that can use a magic type on you except warlocks. Secondly, warlocks on my server are not very popular as a mage base. While there are a number of fighter-based warlocks, they do not hit for near the damage of their mage counterparts, so the need to resist them on Mourning is not as necessary. Elemental damages are as popular as ever, so with bard chants I reach over my max and am barely affected by channelers, templars, and furies (depending if they double debuff me or not). Holy damage, while popular as ever, is much harder to debuff. Sentinels are required to run into your group and cast their Point-blank holy debuff, which is not near as effective as the Channelers deferred debuff, or a furies, warlocks, and wizards targettable debuff. So generally speaking, I leave holy at a medium range of resistance since the chances of being debuffed are quite low. My magic is at 30% mainly because our bards run with the resistance chant GM’ed. This gives me 80% resistance, more than enough to outheal the damage of one or two wizards.

Some other random things to note:
- Always use your poison and disease remove! I am simply astounded at how underused one of the most common spells in the game is. Removing a 100-150 poison tick from you is hugely helpful for an instant cast, no recycle spell.
- Always, always, always have your Prayer of Haste, or another 48%+ run buff on you. This is by far the most important thing to stay alive.
- Your prayer of recovery, while lasts 30 seconds, will refresh mid-tick if you recast it. If no one is in need of immediate heals, don’t be afraid to cast this every time it is up. You will find yourself able to cast Prayer of Recovery, Prayer of Mending, and Blessed Mending and then have prayer of recovery’s timer available again.
- Use shield block whenever you can. Sure it’s only 12% to block, but it has absolutely NO negative effects towards your priest, unless you plan to kill some people with your gilded scepter.

Phearla TT - Elven Battle Priest. by Phearlo

from Here

There are two things I wanna point out before I post this template.

1. Priest's are very customizable to play style, and most often built to suit different servers.

2. This template is designed around the fact that I have both a priest and a bardbot, therefore
its dependant on those, theres a reason I pay for those accounts.

I am a resist junkie and since this template has alot of points to play with I squeeze out all the

This template isnt easy to play at all. 2k hp and only two legs make it challenging but incredibly fun.
Your resist's are your best friend, always try and get SoS from bard and melee res from a channy or confessor.

Alot of people will say this is better as a human. ive played human, centaur, and dwarf. They were all fun but elf
fits my playstyle the best. For me the fun in playing a priest is the rush, but a priest is all about playstyle.

This toon is lvl 66 atm, with the trains up to 75 I wanna find trains to GM either fire res or cold res from wyrmslayer/uh.

Anyway if anyone has questions just ask.

Reasoning and Tactics:
First off, I went healing for a simple reason. This game is almost entirely operating on buff bots. I’m not going to take buffs on this priest when I can just as easily go heals. 150 point heals in defensive stance is a lot better for your group than having the same buffs that a bot already has. I personally didn’t train my hots because It’s guaranteed that the heal priests will have them at a higher level, and since you’re in defensive they’ll give truly insubstantial amounts of health. The choice is up to you.

When going into battle it’s usually best to start in the back in defensive stance, or be right in the front to aoe the target as they come into range. This entirely depends on the number of targets their proximity to each other, their line of sight, etc etc. It’s not likely that you will be stunned by them, so your AOE is likely to always go off. Once you are off the “first target” list, ie. Can’t be hit, it’s up to you if you want to stay in defensive or go into precise. This is probably going to matter on which server you’re on. Mourning is high defense, so precise may be required.

It is also a good idea to hotkey your 5 second untrained “Divine Condemption” stun. I use this as a spell interrupter and literally just spam any casting character I see with it. It’s worth breaking spells as a trade off for 15 seconds of their immunity.

Kamikaze priest by Panier0

from Here

I am making a buffbot, but instead of the average buffbot, I am making one that suits me. In the past, I have used various bots, and when I watch them die, it makes me sad.

So I wanted to make my own, one that can avoid dying if attacked by one or two people, which is invariably the case.

My idea:

All 33% 4/4/2 MA
One 15% +30 resist staff
Resist rings/ammy

All GM:
Group Dex buff
Group Con buff
Group Def buff
Group Strength buff
Single Def buff
Alacrity
Divine Sanction (-51% attack speed)
1 train in Grasp of the Holy Father or whatever it's called.
GM run buff

Runes:
Traveller
Forgemaster (Maybe)

*Thinking of taking animator. Just so I can put a pet on someone to annoy them if being chased. Is this a good idea?
*Will I have enough trains to take a shield? More resist would be nice.
*What are the best resists to have?
*Who is Harry Crumb?

I am going to end up with 135 Con with +30 Con rune applied, 93 Int, and 45 Spirit. Since this bot is not for saving anyone besides himself, I think these stats are good. I have 2400 life before buffs, a 21 second snare, run buff, resist to all, a 37% heal for saving myself, and maybe, just maybe, a beast with which to annoy those who would see me dead.

Anything you guys would add? It may seem stupid, but I haven't died to an attack yet, and can run like hell.

Toughness - 25 trains (56%, see Q&A section on how to get more trains for this skill)
Medium Armor - 69 trains (100%)

Divine Recovery - GM
Sacred Healing - 8

Benediction of Rejuviantion - 1
Prayer of Recovery - 30 ($ consideration)

Theurgy - 3 trains (33%)
Blessed Purity - 30
+ 2 trains for stun/root spells of choice

Taking the +10 INT rune for 100 INT would save ~5 trains, put them in Blessed Purity.
================

Beyond R6 - up to +63 trains, use in following order:
Prayer of Recovery - GM as cost permits
Blessed Purity - GM
Restoration - 90 trains (127%)
Theurgy - 10 trains (47%) - helps a little with your emergency stun/root.
Toughness - 49 trains (80%) - use 77% MA if you want to bump this up to 100%.

Q&A's:

* I need more trains in <spell/skill>, where can I find the points?
Block - 53 trains (84%), will save 11. Use 84% Wall Shields.
MA - 46 trains (77%), will save 23. Be warned that 100% MA is easier to find than 77% MA.
Divine Recovery - 32 trains, will save 8.

* Where's Forge Master?
If you can find or buy one, use it and allocate 20 trains to Harden Armor. FM is very useful as it grants ID magic item.

* Tend the wounded option?
Tend the Wounded - GM
Blessed Mending - 20
MA - 46 trains (77%)
+3 trains remaining

Comments

I really can't decide what to do with my 58 extra trains, here were some thoughts. Some combo of the latter possibilitys should work:

- GM Tend the Wounded for a big solid heal (40 trains)
- GM Divine Recovery (8 trains)
- GM Sacred Healing (40 Trains)
- Spike Block to the 3:1 cap (40 trains)
- Spike Restoration to the 3:1 cap (40 trains)
- Take Wyrmslayer and take the +30 Fire buff (20 trains)
- Take Undead Hunter and take the +30 cold buff (20 trains)
- Dump all 58 into Theurgy for a decent ATR on Sanction
- Raise Benediction to 85?, untrain Blessing of Health to 20, and GM Prayer of Vitality (~34 Trains)
- or something completely different?

ATM I am leaning toward a block spike and Wyrmslayer (pesky templars)

MY THOUGHTS-
Dwarven priests are pretty straight forward. You can't run to escape damage. You soak it and keep on spamming heals. To help your survivability you need to focus on a couple things. Always play in offensive stance. Charmed ammy of power helps with stats and resists. Dual resist gear is a must. Harden your armor and melee will have trouble beating you down. With the PB immunity timer we have a greater chance of getting off more heals. The only time I make dramatic movements in a fight is when the group is spread out and someone needs a heal or I'm Shadowmantled. Then I hit sprint and head to the back of the brawl. Sometimes those targeting you loose interest. If it looks like we are cleaning them up though I'll stay with the mantle and keep the heals going.

Blessed Mending POWER versus Tend the Wounded POWER. I went Tend the Wounded on one priest. His heals hit for about 800. However, Tend the Wounded has a longer casting time. In that time you can get the equivalent Blessed Mendings off and save a toon. After using both...I actually prefer Tend the Wounded..But it's personal preference.

The percentage heals and stam recoveries. Your call on how high to train them. Not sure what they max out..I have eight trains and they are at 35.7% of full. Your call on sinking more training points into them.

If you want stuns..You'll need to train Theurgey up for your atr. It's a point sink. You really should pick one or the other.
Heals or stuns.

Forgemaster powers are great. The harden armor really helps your melee resists. And meleers will love your hone weapon power.

Watch health bars. Someone is getting targetted at the onset of a fight I'll usually hit the single target percentage heal on them immediately. That way if the enemy is good targeters you stand a chance of saving them. Halfway during a long fight it's nice to warn folks and hit that group stam recov.

Buffs- Your going to be a little tight on points at this time. Sink 20 points into the single target to get the group of whatever type, be it STR, DEX, or CON. This is where your group dynamics come into play with different healer bases getting the different buffs.

That is it in a nutshell. You're probably gonna die. Your job is to throw as much healing out as you can in that time.

Pointer- Priests work much, much, much better in pairs..So always travel with two in a group!

*Errata

With the new armor prefixes you can bump med armor down to 77% for drakescale, have comparable melee resists and save that many points.

And there you have it. The int rune and gear are the major drawbacks as they can be pricey. But imho they are worth it!!!

I've had great times with this character pvping and he can keep an xp group moving right along. He survives by being able to run from and outheal damage. Tend the Wounded cranks at 700-1k, Group heal hits around 500-600, HoT goes about 200 a tick, and GHoT fires off close to 300 a tick. I dont have a real preference on resists other than to say make sure you spike up holy. Thats because generally speaking you can outrun damage from all templates except Cent Nukers. And since all cent nukers fire holy....

Lets see what else....hrmm...maybe the SPI was a bad choice considering I thought I would have WAY more mana than I actually have at r7. But overall I shudder to think what it would be had I not upped SPI. I took cent over dwarf because I feel cents provide more for a group. While a dwarf can live longer he has to sacrifice healing power and buff power to do so. Which I think is bad for a group. So I staked my life on heals and speed in order to keep a group at max power level. Mostly lag sucks and doomies that drain and assasins that make me immune to heal. But every paper has scissors I suppose.

If you have an questions or comments be sure to post. Id love to debate this temp as I've had lots of fun with him!!

This includes minimal buffs (+50 con, +150 mana regen, harden armor) simply because they're as usefull to your template as buffing others. If you know you can always get these buffs elsewhere, then you can cut them out also. Otherwise this focuses soley on healing and survivability. You should break 3k hitpoints and heal for over 300 average on the fast casting blessed mending. Get a full suit of +4/+4 dwarven chain except the headgear. Get that as (+15 rest/ben, +10 int) and the same on the scepter. Focus the shield and jewelry all on resists (or resist prefix with +10 int or power suffix). This is close to my dwarf priest build, except I didn't train toughness and block as high since I was getting some other buffs also. He can stand in the middle of sieges through focus fire and do his job when other priests are running or dieing.

A GM STR buff would increase the defense another 50-75 points.

At 75 this template should be pushing 3K hp and 350 stam. If you focused on Def you should be around 1750-1800 defense. Damage is about 100 per swing and you should be hitting 4 times each swinging action.

I'm about to hit r6 with this template so I'll update it as I get more info.

BW priest Template by Jackel

from Here

Chupei’s BW Priest Template

Starting: All right as u all know BW priests are UBER but there is just a few starting procedures that are needed to be followed in creation on your BW priest.

Starting Race: Elf (of course)
Starting Class: Healer (duh)
Starting Runes: 1.Lucky (This is a must!)
2.Lightning Reflexes (Must have)
3.The other +10 DEX if u want

Because of the hybrid nature of this class you WILL be short on points!!!!!!!!!! Which means that you will not have all your necessary skills trained before R5 unless you have a buffbot, which would save a bunch of augmentation trains.

Being a BW priest means your not going to be taking out many flyers because you’re on ground with ground weapons and they are not. There is ways however to fight them however but that will be discussed at a later time.

Now is time for the fun part of the template………. Figuring out where to put all those trains and ability points!

Ability Points: All ability points need to go into DEX mostly and the rest in INT (for those who want to proc) or into CON (blade weavers need CON a lot because of their low stamina pool). After you max DEX, which should be around 160 with both starting DEX runes taken at creation you can either put the rest of your ability points into another DEX rune or into CON and INT.

Trains:
Medium Armor-MAX THIS OUT! (Least have 140% this is for defense)
Sword- 110%
Blade Weaving- 110-120% (Higher the better because it increases dmg)
Benediction- 69% (For Summon)
Restoration- 70-80% (Trains in this because of the 2 Stam Heals)
Theurgy- 63% (For sanction)

Abilities: Deciding what abilities to train are based on what the person really wants. But to be good in PVP, GVG, and PVE there is really one path to go.

1.Blessing of Health-GM
2.Blessing of Dexterity-GM
3.Blessing of Protection-GM
4.Sanction-GM (15 second stun, a must have for BW priest)
5.Blessed Alacrity-GM
6.Holy Righteousness-GM
7.Sacred Rejuvenation-8 (For group % stam heal)
8.Benediction of Rejuvenation-1
9.Sacred Healing-1
10.Divine Recovery-1 (Cast and sit for fast healing)
11.Prayer of Haste-10

The rest of your points that you want to spend on abilities could be put into the BW techniques such as find weakness. You can see why this is a hard-pressed points template now eh?

PVP: There are many ways for a BW priest to go about in PVP battles. There is however, some classes you should stay away from until you are sure you can beat them. These classes are Barbs, HA warriors, HA crusaders, and fighterlocks. There are ways to beat these classes, just takes a group to get their health a little lower for you.

The classes that take a little more time and concentration are the flying classes. There are a few ways to go about defeating them just might take a while. First rush the flyer and force them up into the air because you will be to uber for them on the ground. When they fly up you cast sanction, flip on Prayer of Haste, and then make a run for it. DON’T RUN AWAY just stay out of their casting range. They will eventually run out of stam and then they are yours for the taking.

Barbs are a lot more trouble for you than Flyers. To fight a barb with his HP full is kind of dumb on your part. But if u must fight a barb with full HP bar then heres what to do. First cast sanction and start hacking away be sure to Power Block when the sanction is almost up. After that you can either cast Grasp of the all Father (Root) or wait for his stun immunity to run off or just plain run (Grasp of the all Father is breakable by the barb, its only useful when your fighting a dumb barb). But the easiest way to beat a barb is to have someone lower his health for you then you will win no doubt.

High Defense Crusaders and Fighterlocks are those 2 classes you just don’t even want to try to mess with unless you have group support. But if it’s a healer sader, go for it and use the stun power block tactics.

GVG: What ive found easiest in GVG is to not charge with the other tanks but stay in front of the casters and sneak up on enemy healers or casters because they stand no chance against you. After you finish one then go to another. Just note that the enemy will notice you soon and come for you when this happens, stun and run till they give up. Just be cautious on what you do, pick your targets and not rush anyone you see.

That is all for now on the BW priest template. Have fun with it and use your BW priest wisely because a good BW priest is widely known for their combat skills.

Not sure yet (commander prolly, just stun break; maybe forced march if I don't do prayer of haste // also maybe UH, for cold resist against stealther assassins)

Powers:
Sanction - GM
POS - GM
Mana buff - GM
Prayer of Haste -- Probably GM

After that, I'm not sure where I wanna' go :P Thinking of possibly the Group % heal GM, for sure at least 1 point into the Stam % heals (group and ind.) if I can.

I also thought that the attack speed debuff could be cool against barbs, etc., BUT, with stuns, etc., not sure I woul d have the time to go to it much.

SOOOOO...

If you have any thoughts on how to flesh this guy out, I'd be appreciative! In Precise stance his ATR should be good enough to land a majority of stuns; in O stance, what little healing ability he could have might be alright. Although, to be frank I'm not sure what the best route is to make his healing ability adequate while making sure that my stunning ability is top-notch.

Thanks in advance!

Thoughts, comments?

Breaking 1600 Def in DStance. Self buffing and more powerful than a bow scout. No weapon powers though.
Almost as fast as a scout though (with GM Prayer of Haste) and good for scaring off fliers with pretty decent bow hits.

Pure Stunner/Melee BW Priest by Balazer

from Here

This is my first BW character and my second Priest, so any advice/critiques would be helpful. He's level 30 at the moment, and I used Catacombs to plot him out to level 60, here's how he'll turn out.

Elf BW Priest

-5 from Str at creation
Starting Runes: Healthy as an Ox, Warlord's Page

Stats (Current at lvl 30/Stats at 75/Max)
Str: 30/30/30
Dex: 88/135/135 (185 with self buff)
Con: 90/90/90 (140 with self buff)
Int: 75/85/120 (extra points here, or try for more Dex?)
Spi: 75/75/95 (may have put too many points here)

Skills
Sword ~ 90 trains
Bladeweaving ~ 90 trains
Medium Armor ~ 90 trains
Benediction ~ 69% (for summon)
Restoration ~ no trains
Theurgy ~ 90 trains

Spells
Con Buff ~ GM (a must for Elf)
Dex Buff ~ GM (duh)
Blessed Alacrity ~ GM (attack speed buff)
Holy Rightousness ~ GM (self damage buff)
Sanction ~ GM (uber stun)
Blessed Mending ~ GM (fastest heal, good for downtime/emergencies)
Prayer of Haste ~ 1 train (20% run buff, better than nothing)

Ok, now some questions. Not sure of exactly how many trains I'll have by 75, but as it is I think I'll be a little tight.

1. Will 90 trains in Med Armor help my def more, or should I stop at 100% and train the Def Buff instead?

2. Should I stop Bladeweaving at 100%?

3. Could I get away with only 100% in Theurgy and still have a good ATR for the stun? I have two +150 ATK Tlans, my ATR is already 780 in normal stance at level 30, I'm thinking 100% in Theurgy should be enough, but I'm not sure.

4. Do the Single Target Def Buff and the Group Def Buff stack? I was thinking I could drop both the Alacrity and Damage buffs and take both of the Def buffs, live in Def stance, and just spam Sanction at any body that gets near me. Even with the attack speed and damage buffs, I don't think I'm gonna scare anybody, but this is my 1st BW, so I don't know what kind of damge potential they have.

5. Are the trainable BW powers worth taking? Find Weakness looks good, but I'm tight on trains and not sure how effective it is.

Any help/advice/flames are appreciated, thanks in advance.

High defense template by Xiat

from Here

Try this instead. You will find it is a much more well rounded character

Starting runes:
Both Con runes
Lucky

In game:
+35 Dex
+10 Con
Blade Weaver
Undead Hunter
Commander
Animator (if you have RoC)

Max dex
increase int to about 80
max con at 100.

Restoration - 64%
Theurgy - 34%
Benediction 69%
Sword 150%+ (MAX)
MA 130%+ (MAX)
BW 130%+

GM-
DEX buff
Single DEF buff
CON buff
Blessed Alacrity
Personal Righteousness

Put trains into-
Blessed Purity - 10
Prayer of Haste - 10
HoT - 1
TTW - 1
Stam %heal - 1
HP %heal - 1

Riposte - 20
Blade Dancing (PBAoE) - 1
Consecrate Weapon - 20

That right there is about where you will be at level 60. With some good armor and decent jewelry (Emerald) you should be pushing if not over about 1700 defense with 2500 hp and 300+ stam. Throw on some Leg of Alac Tlans and you will be able to solo any mob in the game and eat apart most player templates.

Don't worry about getting too far over 1600 def. Once you get to there not many people can hit you and those that can have to gimp themselves to do it.

This character is completely self sustaining and self supporting. No reliance on buff bots or anything else.

Development to level 75:
Increase Theurgy enough to get Sanction and pound it up to GM.
*or*
A GM STR buff would increase the defense another 50-75 points.

Enjoy

Healings of Vengeance by Bender

from Here

Note: This template was created based solely on the fact my lore does not support Dwarves, Centaurs, or Elves. I will post several variations of what could be done with this same template if you wished to use stuns.

second note: You may notice I didn't do medium armor. Doing armor spreads your priest too thin, if you're stunned for 15 seconds, you're 2500 hp is gone regardless of if you have 30% melee resists or not. Anyway, in the last two months I've died to melees one time in memory.
