Caeric Blackhammer is the noblest of men, the first paladin, and the hero who embarked on an epic quest through Oblivion to retrieve Shadowbane from Ithriana and gave it to his king, Cambruin, to rescue humanity from the tyranny of the elves once and for all.
Tragically, Caeric died at Kierhaven on the day of woe.
