The AGC window
AGC is short for "Absolute Game Control", a macro program created for Shadowbane by Zod. Unlike traditional macro programs, AGC interacts directly with the shadowbane processes allowing a macro to run without having the screen active, so you can "alt+tab" off to another window. This also allows the program to actively macro several Shadowbane processes on the same computer. Please note that AGC does not allow for macros of extreme sophistication that can be found in other macro programs such as AC Tool.

Tutorial

AGC is a very powerful program and can be very easy to use. It can macro multiple accounts on the same machine while shadowbane is minimized. It also supports some advanced "key cloning" techniques.

History

AGC was created specifically for Shadowbane in 2005 using Delphi 7.

Zod wrote:
"AGC was built simply to help level because leveling was VERY long, boring and tedious. In addition, most in game customer reps were very forgiving (at the time of AGC creation) if you were using it only to level yourself (not to use it to control 8 toons against other players). One even had mentioned that it was ok as long as you were at the computer. In any case, once AGC was created, it could easily run multiple ones and control them all at the same time. This made leveling very very efficient."

Disclaimer

Use of macro programs may be frowned upon by game masters. Be sure to check the game developer's in-game rules to verify use of programs such as AGC are allowed.
