September Content Patch
Patch 8: September Content Patch was added to live servers on September 7th, 2005.
Changelog
GENERAL
- Power mouseovers now report the amount of time remaining to recast.
- The who list received some minor UI updates.
- Upon promotion, a new message alert players to the class channels.
- Newly promoted players are now announced to their class' class channel.
- The promotion reminder HUD is now a little more user friendly.
- The group experience and gold grant radius has been reduced.
- PvP death messages have been shortened and simplified.
- The tracking HUD can now be resized.
- Stacks of resources no longer have gold value.
- Light armor sleeves purchased at the Black Market should be repairable.
- PvE Messages will no longer be announced in Nation Chat
- Fixed a server crash
WORLD
- The hit point curve was significantly reduced for monsters over level 40.
- Runemasters have a new travel option, much like repledging without the guild membership change. All cities available for repledge are also open to travel.
- Irekei bankers now call themselves such.

CITY / SIEGE
- Banes may only occur during specified times of the day. Like mine windows, the defender chooses a time between two bounds (currently, the same times as mines). If the defender doesn't choose a time, the closest bound is chosen for them.
- Guild and nation leaders may set a message of the day for their members. It may be set from either an option in the Guild menu or from slash commands: "/SetNationMotD" and "/SetGuildMotD."
- Asset maintenance messages now report the specific city's name.
- Mine attack messages are now sent to the nation channel.
- Mine claim news is now broadcast around the world.
- Simple PvP death messages are now sent to the nation channel.
- New members are now announced to the guild channel.
- You must now wait an hour between changing guilds.
- Guild charters are significantly more expensive.
RACE
Half-Giant
- Half-Giants now receive +10 to great axe mastery, great hammer mastery, and great sword mastery.
- A new power block immunity power, Undaunted, is granted to Half-Giants for free at level 25.
CLASS
GENERAL
- The "Proficient with Bows" character creation starting rune has been removed.
- A minor weapon power is now available at level 1.
- A personal dispel stealth power, Reveal Thyself, is available to all rogues at level 2. It costs no stamina.
- Base class trainers now talk about Nightstalkers and Necromancers.
Fighter
- All fighters and rogues now receive the bow skill at level 1.
- All fighters and rogues may now take a bow starting kit in character creation.
Rogue
- Rogue starting kits that provide a single sword and a single dagger have been removed.
Crusader
- Last month's Crusader weapon power, Darius Fist, is no longer a weapon power, but a regular point-blank area of effect DOT. It still requires a Liturgy weapon.
DISCIPLINE
GENERAL
- Expansion Discipline mouseovers now say that they require an expansion.
Clan Warden
- A new discipline, Clan Warden, is now available to Dwarven Priests.
- Shaper's Sanction - Single Target Holy Resistance Debuff
- Grasp of Thurin - Single Target Grounding Shot
- Dwarvish Wrath - Personal Attack Buff
- Simeron's Song - Group Power Damage Buff Chant (Dwarf only)
Huntsman
The Huntsman Power "Skin the Beast" is now flagged as aggressive
Saboteur
- The Saboteur power Infiltrate should no longer be blocked by no teleport spires.
Savant
- The Savant discipline heal, Strength of the Many, should heal about 50% more hit points.
