Gilliandor the Eldest Elf ruled the Twilight Kingdom, or Midranell, founded by the Sidhe in the First Age of the world. Aerynth became a paradise beneath the mingled lights of the Golden Moon and the Silver Moon, as his people learned many secrets of Magic and Lore from Saedron and Volliandra. The Elves built lofty towers of glass, alabaster, and crystal and filled the air with songs of beauty and glory; peace and tranquility reigned supreme, until the coming of the Dragon.

Gilliandor was the eldest son of the All-Father and the Green Mother, Braialla. His crown was made by Dernilla the Starweaver.
