Item Crafting Basics
A player can choose to use random rolling or formula rolling. With random rolling, a player only chooses the base item that is created; all magical effects are randomized. Formula rolling allows a player to choose the specific enchantments applied.
Time and Cost
Rolling time varies based on the rank of the NPC and the forge they reside in. However, if a player has Mithril () in their warehouse, rolling will consume one unit and become near-instant.
Depending on the base item and enchantments selected, an item will cost a specific amount of gold and resources (as listed below). Random rolling is typically cheaper than formula rolling but will take much more time to find an ideal item, and will never produce expansion-tier enchantments (see below).
Item Tiers
There are four tiers of items:
- Tier 1 is lowest tier of items which only ever cost gold to create.
- Tier 2 is the next highest tier of items which cost gold and a single unity of Agate to create.
- Tier 3, also known as "vanilla" gear is the highest tier of items that can be found when random rolling or on mob corpses.
- Tier 4, also known as "expansion" gear is the best type of gear that players can craft.

Special Resources
The following resources have special purposes.
- Mithril is only used to speed production time
- Agate is used only to craft tier 2 gear.
- Wormwood and Galvor are only used in the base cost for tier 4 weapons.
- Wood and Stone are only used for creating and maintaining a capital city.
