Attack rating, or ATR, is one's ability to land a hit on a target versus their defense.

Formula

Attack Rating can be calculated using the following formulas:

Melee

  • (((Dexterity or Strength which ever higher/2) + (Primary Skill * 4) + (Secondary Skill * 2) + (Attack Rating Magical Bonuses on Weapon(s))) * (1.Stance Modifer)) * (1.Special Attack Modifer)

Spell

  • (7 * Spell Focus Line) + (Dexterity/2) + Weapon Bonus * Stance * Special Attack

Hit-roll
