Haifur Haldoran's Shadowbane roots began in 2003 on a character named Druidian, a human druid. The setting was scorn server, the starting runes included a proficency with swords. Needless to say Haifur quickly became accomplished at leveling since he had an uncanny ability to plan out characters only after they had been gimped.

Upon the scorn server's closing Haifur traveled with his guild "Guardians of Aerynth" led by Feylan Trynthlas to the Death Server. To prepare for the transfer to this new world Khek the Puny was born and was bestowed with an FC Spear with which he was to carry into battle. This spear would remain Haifur's most prized possesion until his retirement. The first weeks on the Death server were fairly uneventful until Haifur met Agamemnon An'Tharsus. It was then that Haifur became an avid follower of the temple and studied faithfully under the tutelage of Agamemnon and Ekinax as Adamar An'Tharsus. The Death Server was lightly populated and Haifur viewed his time there as a period of peace between the difficult and violent world of Shadowbane. In 2004 the Death Server was shut down and both Agamemnon and Feylan decided to take their guilds to Mourning, the unofficial role playing server.
