Golding is the act of adding as many trains as possible into a focus skill or to take a stat to your current maximum. This is referred to as "golding" because when at maximum trains, the skill or stat amount will display in gold color in your skills or stats window.
The amount of points needed to gold a skill depends on various factors, mainly your intelligence. The number of points needed to gold a stat also varies, based on race, base class, starting traits, and in game runes. Template:Jargon
