When the original Shadowbane servers closed down in May 2009, a group of dedicated fans came together to revive their favorite game in a new project called the Shadowbane Emulator.
Design Philosophy
The Shadowbane Emulator seeks to continue the tradition set by Wolfpack Studios and Stray Bullet Games before it by releasing regular content patches and balance tweaks using a combination of community feedback, testing, and over 10 years of Shadowbane development experience.
Patch History
The Shadowbane Emulator project has released four patches to the game since taking over development.

- The Reforged in Flame balance (patch 1.5)
- The Shroud of Ardan content patch (patch 2.0)
