Getting Started
Welcome to Shadowbane!
This is the first article in a series which will take you from knowing nothing about Shadowbane to being savvy on expert game tactics. This guide has been written to allow you to learn how to play at your own pace by breaking up major content into bite-size articles which have been organized in the navigation bar at the bottom of this page.

Account Creation & Forums
However, before you can make such a post, you'll need to create a forum account. Conveniently, a forum account is also necessary to access the game. No worries, registering is simple!
- Click the Register button above.
- Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Enter your user name of choice, then fill out other details. You'll need to validate your email address before the account is activated.
- Once your account is active, you'll be able to post on the forums, but that is not required for playing the game.

Logging In
Now that you have the client, its time to boot it up!
- Run the shortcut to SB.exe you have on your desktop or tray and give the client some time to load.
- Once you see the login screen, enter your forum username and password and click "log in".
