Tournament

Players will gather in an attempt to prove themselves in battle and earn their spot as a Season 5 champion in the city of Kierhaven!

Season 5 Tournament scheduled for Sunday 8/11/2019, 8pm EST.

How to Enter the Tournament:

• The team leader of each participating team must send Malant a message in the SBEMU Discord with team name, size, and the bracket to which you are applying.
• All teams must submit this information 18 hours prior to the event. No exceptions will be made for late comers so as to maintain the relative sanity of the administrators.

Types of Brackets

• 5 v 5 - two teams of five players each.
• 10 v 10 - two teams of ten players each.

Rules

• Upon entering the arena, you may not leave until the fight is over or your pixels are all dead.
• Once the arena doors are opened, the match begins and continues until one team is terminated with extreme prejudice.
• No outside buffs or effects may be applied to your characters. (No Hone, Proc bots etc.)
• Single Elimination: After losing your sweet pixelated life, your team will be removed from the Tournament and you may weep openly.
• Initial bracket seeding will be randomized and all administrators inoculated against player whining of all sorts.
• Each player has but a single life to give to their team - players may not be summoned back into play once killed.
• All gear used in the tournament must be acquired through normal character progression in game - gear, runes and levels will not be provided by the administration. (Swapping gear once engaged in order to counter opponents will not be allowed.)
• Players experiencing connection, life-aggro, sudden loss of spine, or other issues should take one for the team and leave before the doors open and fighting begins. Players should announce this in discord if they have a shred of decency.
• In the case of a technical issue - meteor strike, global thermonuclear war, a cat eating the power cord, et.al. - the tournament administrators may restart the game from the beginning at their discretion. Having already been inoculated against whining during the seeding process, administrator types will not be affected by player butt hurt of any sort.
• In the event that a player is traumatized beyond being able to continue, they must gut up and try harder.
• Moving outside of the normal boundaries is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, part of the Character’s body passing through what should be a non-permeable surface or object such as a wall, and moving into any area from which your Character registers damage on an opponent who is not able to register damage on your Character.

Rewards

• Exceedingly flowery titles within the SBEMU Discord channel.
• A non-glittery statue of your team placed within Aeldreth Havens.
• One full bucket of steam per winning player.
