Below, you will find a selection of user-created character templates for Necromancers. Character templates are battle-tested methods for building your character, but do not guarantee success and depend mostly on one's style of play.

Solo Necromancer (Open Tree PvP)

(First, take 5 points from all. Apply following runes, and then add leftovers to Intelligence.)
Brilliant Mind, Wizard's Apprentice

Stat Runes:

Discipline Rune:
Gorgoi, Traveler (optional), Battle Magus (optional)


Gear:

  • 2x Lapis of Necromancy (+30 Intelligence, 25% Mana Recovery, +10 Necromancy skill)
  • Charmed of Necromancy Amulet (+20 fire resistance, +20 lightning resistance, +20 cold resistance, +10 Necromancy skill)
  • Cloth Armor
    • Boots: Messenger's of Windlords(+40 stamina, +15% movement speed)
    • Gloves: SDR Gloves
    • Hood & Robe: Boned of Genius (+physical resistance, +10 Int)
  • Weapon: Warlord's of Necromancy Journeyman Staff (+150 ATR, +10 Necromancy, 15% skill staff)

Ability Points:

  • Dexterity: No points added
  • Intelligence: 180
  • Constitution: 96
  • Strength: No points added
  • Spirit: 60

Point Spread
As Vampire Mage, you will receive a total of 640 training points for use with skills and powers. Use them thusly:
Skill Points:

  • Sorcery: No points added
  • Warding: All leftover points
  • Necromancy: Gold

  • Dark Fortitude: 20
  • Vampire's Kiss: 20
  • Shielding: 40 (GM)
  • Stun: 40 (GM)

  • The Blood is the Life: 1

  • Unholy Fright: 40 (GM)

  • May spend points in Traveler or Battle Magus powers if needed. I suggest using points from Warding

  • Charmed of Resistance Amulet (+20 fire resistance, +20 lightning resistance, +20 cold resistance, +15 additional resistance)
  • Cloth Armor
    • Boots: Messenger's of Windlords(+40 stamina, +15% movement speed)
    • Gloves: SDR gloves, or Crimson Circle Gloves
    • Hood & Robe: Boned of Genius (+physical resistance, +10 Int)
