Runes

Weapon Mastery Runes

One fragment of the great saga the All-Father crafted before time's beginning, this stone glyph is a splinter of some mighty hero's destiny - bind it to yourself to assume some of their power!

These Runes can be applied to appropriate characters to grant the ability to train up Mastery lines for weapons they don't normally get. Keep in mind that typically the powers granted from such lines are low level. Check your character's class to see at what level such powers would be granted.

Weapon Mastery Runes are Distributed by mob biome (best bet is off High R3 and R4+ mobs):

  • Dagger and Throwing: Found on Desert and Wasteland mobs
  • Sword, Great Sword and Staff: Found on Timber and Forest mobs
  • Spear and Polearm: Found on Swamp and Jungle mobs
  • Great Axe and Great Hammer: Found on Northlands and Mountains mobs
  • Axe and Hammer: Found on Grasslands mobs
  • Oblivion, Chaos and World mobs spawn all mastery runestone types.
