Effect removal powers can remove one or more effects from a player. An effect in Shadowbane is defined as any result of another action that will have a timed influence on combat ability or attribute adjustment. Effects are represented by a small icon in what is called the effects window (by default, the top-left hand side of screen).

Removal Priority

Effect removal spells will remove the first qualifying effect beginning on the left side of the effects window. Due to the presence of effect removal spells, the effects in a players effects window are arranged in a specific manner for balance.
